Always I try to control displaying the date format in my application to skip the Control Panel settings. I found this is the best way.
>>I have never faced this problem with Access...
>>I am using Access2000 & VB6, many places in my application depends on the date:
>>- In the Access file the field Data Type is (Short Date)
>>and I save the date as "dd/mm/yyyy", saved & retreved without any missing/problem.

>If your database is local and not shared accross multiple users and multiple config, you won't have problem using the format that is set into the control panel.
