You can do this if the form is a Top Level form.

Check out the Solution.app sample sdiform.scx.

Under VFP7:

1. DO HOME()+'samples\solution\solution.app'
2. Expand the forms node, and run the "Create an SDI form" sample.

The Solution samples are available in VFP5 and VFP6 as well, but the samples are in a different directory in VFP6.
