Hi,

I have a machine running NT 4.0 which is causing problems, including taking all memoty when running Fox DOS 2.6, so I am considering changing OS to 2000 or XP.

I would like to take the opportunity to combine two partitions (NT 4.0 requires the boot partition to be FAT, or at least it did when I installed it) and start fresh, leaving any conflicts behind. Problem is, if I buy an upgrade, I believe I must install it on top of the previous version. If I buy a full version it is super expensive. What is the best strategy to follow here?
