You shouldn't make conclusions like this from installing an outdated beta. VFP 7.0 works great on WindowsXP, probably better than with any other version of Windows. VFP 7.0 UI dialogs/forms do not inherit custom WindowsXP themes though, that will be included in the next version of VFP (Toledo), but is a UI/interface issue, not a functionality or a stability issue.
