Hi Jerry
I have been playing with many commercial faxing packages, and the best one i used so far is Equisys Zetafax, wich allowed me also to use unlimited lines ( my app faxes from VFP more than 2000 documents a day, using 6 lines simultaneously ). Anyway, back in the days when i only needed 2 lines, i used Winfax, and it worked great. I remember having some problems with the DDE code, but they disappeared from the moment i added a delay between faxes ( i.e after sending, throw in a inkey(30) line to wait for half-a-minute ). This seemed to give time to Winfax to finish it's housekeeping or whatever it was doing.
If you need the DDE code i used for this, i might find it somewhere in my backups.

Regards,
Jaime

>>Hi Jerry,

>>IMO, Winfax Pro is a pretty flaky piece of software. We've been running it as a fax server for a couple of years now and I've noticed several consistently recurring problems that are not fixed by any of the suggestions that appear on the product support website. One of these is that it periodically forgets and/or changes user-defined settings all by itself. It forgets the sort order of its inbox or outbox logs, it suddenly starts demanding billing codes when people try to send faxes, it loses track of whether it's supposed to produce cover pages by default or not. (It also crashes if more than a two or three processes demand its attention at the same time, but that's another story. ;-) )

Why do programs stop working correctly as soon as you leave the Fox?
