We purchased VS here, and I also use it in my own business on the side. We intend to go with VS in the future as well because of its integration with other products we need. I definitely recommend going with VS if any other of the development tools is needed as well.

We have abandoned all DOS development about 18 months ago (YeeHa!) We are converting all legacy DOS based (Clipper) apps and some mainframe apps to VFP. We do have 1 person here developing in Oracle Power Objects for those systems based on Oracle databases :( But I think that was more because of a lack of VFP knowledge and understanding of how much easier development would be in VFP.
