Hehe, that's cheating. Unfortunately our project is the only thing we removed from source control. Attrib'ing everything in our devel directory -r would simply make the next "get latest" from source safe a royal pain.

I think I'll go with Timothy Yeaney's idea, concerning the "beforebuild" hook into the project. That would un-attrib, then re-attrib all the files in the project automatically, effectively leaving all development files in their original state.
