I have setup a Help Picklist using Referential Validation.

I have a "main.dbf" table which has my foreign key in it (cowner_fk)

and I have a "Owner.dbf" table which has my Primary key (cowner_pk)

When I choose the "add record" icon on my toolbar - it's putting a blank record in my "Owner" table. That blank record is created right when I click add. If I hit the "cancel" or "undo" button it undoes everything on the form but that blank record is still in my "Owner" table

Summary:

When I go to add a new record to my form (I'm using the "form_toolbar" class) it's adding a blank record to my "primary key" table. It does this everytime.


Here's another thing to note. I'm using the "Textbox_" and instead of having the "foreign Key" displayed there I'm using another field in my table.

Any help would be great
