I have been documenting the "Full Access Strategy" behavior of different combinations of User access settings (access tab) with all combinations of groups ( none, one, two or more). I have noticed the base behavior that when a new user is added, the access tab setting defaults to "FULL" if no groups are associated, or to whatever access is granted based on the groups that have been associated. However, if you change the access tab combo box access setting, the defaulting behavior is lost and static regardless of what groups are applied.

Loosing the defaulting behavior is a great loss for flexability. I can completely remove the user and add them back, but an easier solution exists. All that is needed is a "Default" button added to the bottom of the Access Tab Page that would delete all records from the mmsecure table for all records that match the iid of the selected user from the list page (iusrgroupid=iid) and cType = "U". This would restore the defaulting behavior with a little more class.

If you could add this to the framework and send how you "officially" added it to the framework, I'll add it to mine.

Thanks,

Gary Pike.
