Do you see the information you need in the FPT file, but do not see in Browse window? If fix programs were not able to recover this information, than you have manually recover text from FPT file (if it is still there) to memo field by copy/paste. Do a backup before ths and copy information from backup.

Yes. These are just chr(0) characters (zero code) or some other code displayed on screen as a square. This does not indicate that FPT is corrupted.
