Thanks for helping me with this. I did think about reserved characters, and so I tried to input a record with a string of 1234567890 repeated over and over again. I still got the same error. If I kept under 255 characters for the whole SQL string, things worked fine. If I repeated my string enough to go over 255 characters, I got the error.
