Mike,
PMFJI, but can you use one of the Windows API ShellExec() wrappers (Ed Rauh, George Tasker) to launch an email session via the shell exec command 'mailto:
name@company.com'?
I believe this will launch your user's default email application with the 'to' address pre-filled. (I believe there is a way to specify other email fields as well via the 'mailto' syntax). In the mean time your VFP application will continue chugging along in the background.
Does this give you some ideas?

>As far as I can Send(0) would only work if I knew the e-mail address its being sent to ?

>What I was hoping for was Send(1) type functionality, i.e. that it kicks off an open e-mail where they can fill in the E-mail address and other information as they want to, but just that Foxpro doesnt hang around waiting for a return value from that ?

>Perhaps Send(0) Should do this but I'm just getting an error on that and I presume its because I haven't defined enough info (such as the To E-Mail address) to just send it.
