Sorry I don't think the 815 dump will work on 817. (Same problem...)

Can you make the dmdp using 817 client? If you can then use 817 client
both to create the dmp then import it...

i.e.
-create tnsnames entry (net connection to server)
-use exp on 817 client to export from 815
-use imp on 817 to import to 816

or
-use exp on 815 client to export from 815
-use imp on 815 to import to 816
