On several different PC's we have found that FoxPro seems to trash itsself and a reinstallation of FoxPro doesn't fix it - leading to an o/s reinstallation. Also when printing from a FoxPro application (or EXE) cancelling the print job seems to have drastic problems e.g. if you print a print job and your printer is off your program is terminated.

Lloyd;

Sergey makes a good point. You could revert to a previous version of a windows operating system, like Windows NT 4.0. Microsoft provides no support for FoxPro 2.6 and as of December 31, 2001, the same will be true of NT 4.0. Working with tools not supported and on operating systems released recently can have serious problems. Fast hardware and new operating systems have been problems for FoxPro.

A good combination for FoxPro 2.6 is Windows 3.11 and a 100 mhz CPU. That way you cannot go wrong! :)
