Seems like a lot of work...why not just install GhostScript on the Windows machines? Or have it run on a Windows machine isntead of fussing with SAMBA? Ghostscript runs great on Windows too...why force Linux into the equation? I could see this if Ghostscript only ran on Linux (and perhaps it is more functional there), but as far as I know, GS works OK in the Windows world...
