I have a _very_ old installation (5.5) for Windows and it has the ps2pdf utility just as the Unix version have. So, I think it would be very easy to build a COM object on a server to accept requests and convert postscript data into PDF to print! Kind of a neat idea, regardless of what kind of server you use!
