>>Check out the products at
www.deerfield.com. I'm not sure if they have a way to make your IIS seem invisible, but they do have products that will allow you to implement a real web server (independent) environment using standard ISP connections.

>Can't use anything that WWC will not work on - just got around to finally learn how to do this, so it's got to be one of the supported servers.

Deerfield makes software that implements a router in software that hides your LAN/provides ICS/NAT services on a 'single' IP connection; I've used their WinGate products with good success over the past few years, until cheap router/hub products that provide DHCP, DNS and NAT transparently started being available for ~$50 around here.
>>As for getting caught, I'm not sure how someone could prove you were actually running IIS. Hell, all the ISP's I've worked with have a hard enough time providing basic services, so as long as you're not abusive, I don't think you will cause any problems. My guess is your test traffic will be significantly less than that of the average teenager sharing MP3 files.

>They don't complain about the traffic, and they do scan the machines (this is cable), and they listed everything I ran. They even knew when I had a Nimda, and that was mainly the reason why they noticed me. I wasn't even aware that the server was running.

>>I would be be curious to learn what solution you eventually end up with.

>The blue button on the modem, most probably.
