No. I'm trying to make the point that .Net is NOT a product. Someone asked when .Net will be released. I gave the correct answer because .Net is a concept. That concept has been announced. The implementation of that concept is not yet available. If you want to go strictly with what you are saying, then the round of servers currently in beta are not truely .Net servers either.
VS .Net, .Net framework, and ASP .Net are in Release Candidate stage. It can be argued if this is still beta or not. Testing continues, but new features are not added.
Also, you should know that the correct terminology is to have a space before the .Net. I would have thought you knew that.
