That explains more why the only way I could change the Start Menu and Window icons was to do it outside of VFP (3.0) using the standard Win 95 method.
And thanks for the info on the 3.0b (or now c, I hear) install -- I'll be receiving one soon, and I'll be sure to remove all traces of 3.0.
