I haven't installed anything new on my PC for a little while now, but this past weekend, and I don't even remember what I was doing, but for some reason the exact same thing happened to me - my PC wanted to re-install VFP - seemed really weird to me because VFP wasn't even running at the time.

If it happens again, I'll make note of what I was doing at the time. By the way, I'm running Windows XP Pro.
