I renamed the variables in the PRG to no avail - I will cut & paste the code here in case I have missed something...

lcDestination = 1

lcDestination = 2

lcSql = "SELECT * FROM myTable INTO CURSOR temp"

do merge_program with lcSql, lcDestination

Now in the PRG

LPARAMETERS tcSql, tcDest

if tcDest = 1

* destination is WORD

* execute received SQL statement

&tcSql
else
endif
