Hi Tom,

Thanks for your thoughts. I can't say I was expecting so much debate and acerbic comments from some people on an issue that I think is of interest to more people than just me. I accept that in the perfect world we should be on the latest O/S and latest FoxPro version. As the app that we have has had over 7 years of 2.6 development put into it (7 years actual time, with multiple developers, not 7 man years, none of that 7 code monkeys bashing away for 1 year type of thing is what I am trying to say) it is not an overnight job to get it all running in VFP. When it is, great. Untill then we continue to bash away at the codeface. New customers are wanting our application and getting win2k or XP installed on new kit, so we have to bend that way and see if we can make it work. It is not resonable to say "bin 2k and put 9x on your new PC", it is resonable for us to look into getting our stuff working on 2K and to post anything that might help other people on here.
