GOT IT - this I think is strange (maybe you could tell me) - the option button is on the first page a page frame - the user makes his/her choice and is moved onto the next page where the final choices are made - when the page moves over lcDestination is reset to .f. ?

I have changed it so that pDestination is a property on the form and it works...
