What I have been noticing, is that sometimes when I open the form, the new record does not show, then when releasing, and re-opening it, the new record is there. This isn't always the case, it can sometimes take 2 or more attempts to refresh the list.

This indicates :

a) the form is taking a long time to release
b) the timer is still ticking, and I just happen to load the form just after it has called the requery
c) b indicates the form is not releasing, but I have checked the memory when releasing the form.

I wonder if the listbox is retaining something, that is stopping it from requering when initialising.

What about the caching of Select statements ?
