The real problem you will run into is the index files (NTX). VFP doesn't work with these.

There are two products you ought to investigate. The First is xbase++ from Alaska Software. Basically xbase++ provides a windows based gui that can be compiled into the the clipper baseline.

The other is Codebase.... Codebase will allow VB access to the native clipper files including the indexes.

Though not VFP solutions, you might want to check them out.
