Here's what i put together.

Open Xcel (2000)
Put field names in top row
Format cells; date, pick date style
Enter beginning date
Enter second date, this establishes the series spacing
Click & drag to select the two dates; release
Click & hold the little square in the lower right corner of the selected cells; cursor changes to a +
Drag down to the row as far as you want series to go. Release button

You now have a series to work with but no holidays.

Now you need the Palm.
First address takes you to a selection of 144 Palm software you might be interested in.
Other addresses are for two holiday listings apps. I like the last file, personally.

Compare the dates list with your series list. Any hits, go to that date on the Palm and you can see if you need to move the date in the series forward or back.

Select the entire spereadsheet
Format; cloumn; AutoFit Selection
Click on cell A1
Save the Excel file.
Save As.. dBase III type dbf
