Sorry for the lateness of this reply (away on holidays). If you are getting an error while trying to register the OCX then you have either a corrupt OCX file or there is something in your operating system that is not working. What operating system are you using? The easiest way to correct the problem will probably be to just re-install Crystal Reports itself. Is the LoadLibrary error happening while the project itself tries to load? Did you have any errors while installing Crystal Reports?

Also, try opening Visual Basic, create a new Standard EXE, then click on Projects, then Components, click on Browse and select the crystl32.ocx file. This will do the registration automatically. After you register the OCX then try and open up the sample project again. Let me know the results if you haven't already found the solution to your problem.
