Hi Steve,
Just a guess, it looks like acrobat automation uses date stamp it got in the first call for all consecutive calls ignoring one you're passing. I would start looking in that place.

>I am using two .exe apps. One app is a request to view a pdf engineering drawing file. The second app has timers that watch a table and when a drawing number shows up it runs some acrobat automation code to date stamp the drawing before releaseing it to be viewed. When this process is finished it sends a flag to app 1 to let the drawing be viewed. This all works the first time I run the code. However, if try and view the daring again the datestamp is not updated although the code seems to run and the drawing is released to be viewed again. The datestamp will not update until I shut down app 2 and restart then it works the one time. Any clues?
