My problem is I need to provide application timeout.All applications are developed on VB and VC++ components, all exe's. Now what I need is if one of these applications or more than one of these application are Idle which means there is no "User Activity" very specific to user activity, then the application should close down gently without saving any data

To make it more specific assume you have an exe which is developed on VB with one form having two text boxes taking user inputs for First name and last name, now assume this is running and there is no activity from the user, then there has to be a component which checks for how long this "particular application" is Idle and corresponding close this application without saving any data.

Please let me know if this could be acheived.
