In the eyes of the user there's only one report, but in a technical sense it are 3 reports (3 frx's). That report has to be sent by fax to whoever. The user wants to type in the name and telephone number of the recipient only once. The fax machine should send the 'report' (that's the result of 3 frx's) in one telephone session only.
Metaphor: Start Word and (suppose you can fax from Word) try to send 3 Word-documents in one fax-session.
