Sorry, I lost sight of your original problem. These paths are set when VFP starts. I do not know of an API or any other way that will change these VFP settings after VFP starts. You can't start JobControl with the CONFIG.FPW settings you need?

BTW, I was incorrect in that these do not work:

TMPFILES=getenv('temp'), etc.

You have to give a path. It does work without drive letter.
