Take a look at thread #546010. It was posted by Ian Johnston on 8/21/2001. I had the same problem, followed his advice by doing a "CD " and now the problem no longer occurs. If you look at that thread, I believe Microsoft was able to reproduce this problem so I hope it will get fixed in SP1.
