I tried your sample and experienced your problem. I'm using the latest SP w/ VFP6. I searched MSDN and didn't see this listed. I tried a variety of other things with paint, draw, refresh, dodefault, nodefault, etc. Anyhow, I think you found a bug with VFP6. I even tried this in VFP7 and found the extact same problem. Perhaps someone else can shed some light on this. You may want to report this to MS and see what they say.
