VERY VERY grey! Yes. That's why if they can name a few variables & procedures, I feel comfortable they have the right to the source. Especially if they say "Main3.prg has been corrupted, that's all I need"

When someone says "it has a main and some variables are x and loop" I just delete it.

If this were vfp code, I'd not offer, but fpw code? not many people are still actively coding in this. so if they can cause me to believe that they have the right to decompile the code (ie; have the source code) I don't have a problem...but if they do not satisfy that requirement, then I do nothing.
