>I purchased MM a few weeks ago. I've read about 1/3 of the user's manual (which itself is worth the price of the framework). I'm very psyched to get going with it, but as with learning anything of this magnitude from scratch, I'm not sure when to stop reading and start doing, so I'd appreciate anybody's advice/experiences with this process.

David,

I bought MM years ago. I was completely overwhelmed, but stuck with it. One thing I would have done differently had I been able to afford it would be to take the training. Although the manual is excellent, your learning curve will be sharply reduced if you take the classes.

The other piece of advice I always offer people when starting a new MM project is to think about your bizobjs before your interface. It's tough at first, but it will help you design a better application. I suggest reading books on UML and do some modeling before you begin if it's a large app. MM has many implementation options, but you have the flexibility to do any option you want and change later on if you implement your bizobjs properly. They are the building blocks of your application, and it is critical that pay close attention to how you create them.

Be sure to ask questions, and as Alex Wieder always says: "Have fun!"
