Do you have a need for two static ip addresses? I was just wondering why you didn't go with internet sharing instead (that's what I do). My daughter's pc shares my connection via 100base-t at home and I add more on when working on other people's systems sometimes. I've never had a problem with speed doing it this way, but I also don't require a static ip address.
