The Mere Mortals framework appears to be operating under the assumption that the default setting for TALK is 'OFF'. In my copy of VFP 6, the default is 'ON', and it resets to that with every new datasession. This resulted in a lot of messy displays as the framework builders started new data sessions, until I tracked down the right class to issue SET TALK OFF in.

Under Tools | Options | View 'Command Results' is both unchecked and set as default. Is there some other method to permanently change this setting that I am unaware of?
