When I try add a Microsoft Masked Edit control 6.0 (located in ..\System\MSMask32.ocx) to my Controls Toolbox, I keep getting
a message "Object library not registered".

I have completely uninstalled and re-installed Visual Studios 6.0 Enterprise Ed a couple times.

The control shows up on the Component Controls listbox.

I have verified that the following files exist in my Windows\System
directory:

MSMASK32.OCX
MSMASK32.DEP
MSMASK32.SRG

Checking the MSDN library, it says that all the VB controls should
be automatically registered on installation.

I can access most of the Microsoft ActiveX controls but in testing,
I have found a few other controls that are visible in the
Component Controls List Box but generate the error message
"Object library not registered".

Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can get
this control registered so that I can design it into
my projects?

Thanks

Tony Lin
