Our company has purchased Visual Studio mostly because of Vfp 5.0a - the only tool from the packet that we have been using for a long time and therefore could do any recommendations about.
New DOS-based development is quite improbable, meanwhile we still have clients running these applications (and yes, there are chances to upgrade them).
About the other tools, we'll hardly begin to use VB, VJ or VC - there will be no time to learn things we cannot see as really necessary for us.
The only programming languages, besides VFP, that we consider the possibility of working with are Developer 2000 and Prolog ++ (or Visual Prolog).
