While Kylix brought back fond memories of my Turbo Pascal day, and I like it alot, I prefer C++ more. The best GUI-RAD C++ dev tool in Linux today is KDevelop. Have you tried it?

By the way, Recital Corp. is coming out with a VFP clone for Linux in the 1Q of next year. I also agree with you...when it come to pure, unadulterated easy and powerful programming power, nothing comes close to VFP.... except maybe Pick. (Pick is available for Linux, but they want your firstborn in exchange...)
