Well... it seems to be that we never will be agree on that. Of course, my future application will use separates dll's, but the reason to do that for the moment is this is a RAD try. When the final release will be available this is an idea to fine tuning the applications. Thanks.

Thinking in is easy to crack...., perhaps...¿hum? No this is not the target of WWF-VFP. The idea was always avoid the EASY decompilations. So any user who downloads REFOX or buy refox will need additional tools to begin to decompile. This is the idea and I think it worths.

>Refox is better than what you offer.. You (currently) are offering "false" security. Xitech also offers Konxsice -- which does exactly what you *WANT* to do; except it does it w/o loosing the resource table or requiring external dll's.

I'm not offering nothing. I'm working on it. I'm begining to receive feedback from VFP developers to make strongest the protection. But about I'm completely sure is REFOX is not sure even with LEVEL II. Let me tell you why.

The Level II encrypts the VFP exe and the runtimes libraries. First of all, modifying the runtime libraries is a Microsoft Copyright violation, but I do not know why Mircrosoft does not sue this company. Second, due the complete branded application is encrypted the application needs to know how to decrypt by itself. The only way to do that is with a signature embedded on the branded application. The people who develops REFOX knows where and how this signature resides in the branded file. So they can unbranded your application when they want, even without the password you use. This is the reason behind they wish to develop that's new tool.

My intentions are create a free GNU protection scheme. This is only the begining. Time will put the things in the correct place. I'm sorry if you understand that my application is better or will be better than... Nothing more far than my idea. I'm an unasuming developer who only try to share ideas with other developers.

Best regards
