Dragan,

>After seeing so many "Free Tibet" stickers, grafitti, taglines etc, seeing "Free Turkey" in the grocery yesterday got me somewhat confused for a moment.

We really did have free turkey for Thanksgiving. My wife had asked a local "Boston Market" restaurant if we could get a good price on Thanksgiving dinner for 20 international students at our house -- and they said yes, it's free!

We had a great time of cultural exchange, explaining (then eating) all the traditional Thanksgiving foods, then my son played violin while I played piano, followed by everyone taking a turn saying "I am thankful for...", followed by lots of dessert!

We are exhausted, but everyone seemed to enjoy it very, very much. Many students remarked that it was like having a large family here in Atlanta, while they are miles away from their own families. One Japanese girl was here for the fourth year in a row, and has become a very dear friend to us.

Others this year were from Croatia, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Colombia, Taiwan and Jamaica. One American, in honor of his Scottish heritage, showed up wearing a kilt. Quite a cross-cultural experience!
