Tamar,
I am shocked,
Ever since Windows 2000 I started mandating in my office that people use the My Documents Folder to hold their documents - I teach them how to create folders in the My Documents folder and so on.

When I install a machine on an employees desk, they My Documents folder is pointed to a network drive which is always backed up. So if their personal disk takes a dump - or their machine gets a nasty virus, and I have to replace a machine, all of their documents are safe, sorted on a server.

Imagine what I had to go through to change a machine on an employee, who had their docs stored on their desktop, or put someplace thoughout their c:drive. and some in My Docs folder
Now I know where all their personal docs are , safe on a server, changing a machine is now much more of a snap.

In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
