I totally agree with Alex; if one wants to have Microsoft supporting the product, buy it, and convince other to do the same!
However, there's something that must be said: in "other countries" (where Brazil is a part ot those...), we really have a different econimic situation...
in USA, VFP 7 cost the equivalent of 10 hours of a developer. Well, one day worked, and a VFP box at the end of the day.
In Brazil, VFP costs the equivalent of 132 hours of a developers... :-(
Here, our wages really sucks... I think in some other countries this is also true.
