I recently got VFP 7, I love the product. Here in my country we are creating the Dominican VFP user Group.
We'll promote the product. We know most of copies in my country are illegal, we know Microsoft promote "any product" more than visual foxpro.
>>I'm talking about money, of course.

>>Is MS selling sufficient licenses to keep the product alive?

>>Does the poor marketing history affect new marketing efforts?

>>Which is the approximately number of sold boxes?

>Visual FoxPro 7.0 is sold via upgrades, stand alone copies, and is also obtained via MSDN Subscriptions. Microsoft will do a survey next year to determine what percentage of VFP developers get VFP via MSDN Subscriptions. Visual FoxPro is alive and well at Microsoft, and you should have no fears about the future of the product and Micorosft is very busy working on the next version of VFP. As for your last question, that information is confidential, Microsoft does not disclose that information for any of its products.
