You don't have to do anything to use the ISAPI listener.

Just install it (which is not trivial because it install in non Web path and the install doesn't map it correctly). See docs...

Just be aware that if something fails in the ISAPI listener there's nothing you can do in terms of pre or post processing since that's all internal.
