I'm trying to build my first help system using VFP's Help Workshop / Compiler.

I've created the (preliminary) contents file and the project file in the Workshop but the RTF file must be done in Word.

Here's the problem... when I click on "Save and Compile" I get the message ".rtf corrupted at offset 280." and the help file is not created.

I've trimmed down the RTF file to just one word but I still get the same message. What exactly does this mean? Does "Offset 280" mean the 280th character in the file, the 280th byte of the file... what?

Any help is greatly appreciated
