The UT's Survey asks us about required registration of software.

You aren't required to register either Windows XP or Office XP. You are required to activate the software anonymously though, whihc is very very differnt. One reason that there is so much disgust towards activation is because it is often addressed with misinformation, like the UT's Survey, confusing people on the issue.

Please change the survey and re-ask the question.
