To answer your question, I am using ADO to create the parameters when I set the command text to the stored procedure. I have tried the refresh but it made no difference. It almost feels like text is not one of the options available. Do you know if there are any restrictions on the types that are returned depending upon the type of connection that is opened e.g. using a DSN or DSN less connection.
