Title:
Accessing Windows applications child windows
Using FOPEN(), it's possible to determine whether a file is in use.
George Tasker's IsRunning.prg and other code, provides the necessary code to identify a Windows application through the name of an open filename and thus be able to close the application.
But if an open file is not the active file in the child window list of an application, then the application cannot be identified through the filename.
How can you access the child window list of an open application to determine if a file is in use?
TIA
Dennis
